General

Yes, we will take 1 well-behaved dog and after discussion possibly two smaller, well-behaved dogs.

No other pets accepted, we have enough of our own!

Booking periods over the high season from March to September and Christmas / New Year are Mondays to Fridays (4 nights) and weekends (Fridays to Mondays, 3 nights).

Booking periods in the low season from October to February, except Christmas / New Year are Mondays to Wednesdays (2 nights) and Wednesdays to Fridays (2 nights) and Fridays to Mondays (3 nights).

Check-in after 1600h. Check-out before 1030h.

On booking, details will be sent out about how to collect keys.

We have space available for off road parking on a gravel drive for up to 3 cars.

Yes, we have a 5m charging cable that will reach cars parked close to the property. The first charge is included in the rental fee.

Yes there is high speed wifi wired to the house.

Hot water and heating are supplied by an air source heat pump.

Hot water is always readily available.

Heating is controlled by handheld thermostatic controllers for each ground floor room.

There is also a woodburner in the lounge.

The house is highly insulated to current regulatory standards and is very air tight such that the room temperatures do not fluctuate, providing the external doors and windows are not left open!

Yes, these are provided.

No, a hairdryer is provided.

Out & About

The nearest shop is approx. 1 mile away, the excellent, community run Brockweir Village Shop and Cafe.

Other shops can be found in Coleford, Bream and Lydney whilst both Monmouth and Chepstow have a range of supermarkets. Bristol is approx. 45min by car.

Tintern offers the closest pubs and restaurant services. However, read the following for further recommendations.
