A Bespoke Kitchen

Designed to feel part of the whole, with connectivity to the lounge & courtyard.

Designed and built completely by ourselves the kitchen is feels grounded both in place by the large tiles from Mandarin Stone that run throughout the ground floor, and through its proximity to the open courtyard through patio doors.

Kitchen units were handmade from birch faced plywood and finished from work on rough sawn planks of sweet chestnut from a nearby wood mill. Wood grain runs to connect the units. Black handles and tap add continuity and a comtemporary feel.

The kitchen has a feature timber ceiling to add character (the green roof insulation is above) and a skylight adds yet more light to the space.

What a fantastic place!
We enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay here with our family. Ideal to be able to walk to Tintern. Beautiful location for seeing the Wye Valley.
Kids enjoyed meeting the chickens and sheep.
